Alessia Roberto is a lawyer admitted to the Genoa Bar. Since 2011 she has advised companies, in court and out of court, on corporate, commercial and civil law. Since 2018 she has run her own practice, with offices in Genoa, Colico and Rosignano.
She is Data Protection Officer for more than 50 organisations, including public bodies, companies, publicly owned companies and foundations. She sits on Supervisory Bodies under Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 and is a 231 lead auditor.
On the Committee and in AIPIA courses
She has more than 600 hours of teaching across master’s programmes, professional courses and in-company training, with Randstad Italia, Privacy Academy and Digital Universitas. On AIPIA’s Technical-Scientific Committee she is the lead lecturer for the legal area of the Base Course and the Advanced Course. She is a founding member and board member of Privacy Academy and the founder of the Legal Hackers Genova community.

What she works on
She works on the compliance obligations that shape how a company is organised. She supports adaptation to the AI Act and to the Italian law on artificial intelligence (Law 132/2025): inventory and classification of systems, transparency obligations, information to workers, policies, supplier contracts and staff training. She also works on personal data protection, the 231 organisational model, environment and safety, sustainability reporting, transparency and anti-corruption.
