The authoritative AIPIA privacy policy, drafted in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended), is available at aipia.it/privacy-policy. It applies to all data processing carried out by AIPIA, including processing initiated through this English-language sub-site.

What this sub-site processes

This sub-site (en.aipia.it) is a static informational website with a newsletter sign-up form and consent-based measurement tools. The following data processing applies:

  • Hosting log files: Vercel, the platform hosting this sub-site, collects technical request logs (IP address, user agent, requested resource, timestamp) for operational and security purposes. Logs are kept for the technical time necessary for these purposes, under the data-processing terms agreed between Vercel and AIPIA.
  • Newsletter sign-up (footer form): if you submit your email address and tick the consent box, the address is relayed to the AIPIA main platform (aipia.it, hosted in Italy) and stored in the English-language newsletter list managed with MailPoet. The subscription becomes active on request, without a confirmation-email step, and triggers a single welcome message. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter.
  • Measurement and advertising, only with consent: the site loads Google Tag Manager together with the Google tag; through them, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags run. The Meta Pixel is loaded directly by the site, with Meta's consent API in a default revoke state. All analytics and advertising storage starts in a denied state (Google Consent Mode v2). Without your consent no tracking cookie is written; Google still receives cookieless Consent Mode pings, without cookies or persistent identifiers, used for aggregate modelling. With your consent, the cookies listed in the cookie policy are set. Meta receives no data unless you consent.
  • Local storage: the site stores a single key (aipia-consent-v1) in your browser's local storage to remember your consent choice (granted or denied). No personal data is included. Details and how to change your choice: cookie policy.
  • External links: Links to aipia.it, social platforms, partner sites, and external resources are handled by the respective destination providers under their own privacy notices.
